The Do’s and Don’ts of Back Acne

Posted by acnetips

If you have back acne then you need to treat it. When you do not treat it then you can get bad scarring that will last you for your entire life. As people go through puberty their pore and hair follicles can get clogged by too much sebum. It is not easy to get rid of back acne, though.

Back Acne Cure

Back acne needs to be treated. The best way is to go to the dermatologist and get prescribed medications.  For a lot of back acne just a topical treatment that has 10% benzyl peroxide cream can help. There are many things that you can do and use but this medication is tried and true and seems to work well for most people.

To treat back acne you should first wash it. Use anti bacterial soap that is meant for your face. If you use regular soap then it could make the back acne worse. If you use normal soap then it will make your back acne much worse. After you wash it well then you need to let it dry.

After your shower make sure that your back is dry and then apply benzyl peroxide gel on it. You can purchase this medication at the store. You can also get a prescription from your dermatologist. When you apply the medication be sure to let it dry before you get dressed.

Exfoliation will also help if you do it once a week. This gets rid of dead skin cells. A great exfoliation to use is sugar scrub. Do this in the shower.

Back acne can be hard to deal with and even harder to live with. It can damage self esteem and make people feel bad about themselves. If you have back acne then be proactive and treat it. When your back acne is under control then you will be glad that you took care of it properly.
